Copeland
Christine E. “Chris” Copeland, age 64, of Versailles passed away at
7:36 A.M. on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Wayne HealthCare in
Greenville. Chris was born March 26, 1950 in Greenville to the late
Bernard Eugene & Helen Eileen (Gilmore) McGlinch.
Chris is survived by her husband, Dennis E. “Denny” Copeland whom she
married December 11, 2004; son & daughter-in-law, Travis & Lori
Copeland of Lebanon; daughter, Shelly Hedrick of Covington; and
grandchildren, Zachary, Brandon, Emily, Connor and Carley.
Chris was head teller at Second National Bank in Versailles where she
worked for 20 years. Chris was a member of the EUM Church in
Greenville. Chris was also a member of the Versailles Fraternal Order
of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and the Versailles American Legion Ladies
Auxiliary.
A celebration of Chris’s life will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday,
January 24, 2015 at the EUM Church 1451 Sater Street in Greenville with
Pastor Sylvia McKibben officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn
Cemetery in Versailles. The family will receive friends on Saturday
from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the church. Memorial contributions may
be made to the EUM Church. Arrangements are under the direction of
Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles.
