Mary Glenna Deeter
Mary Glenna Deeter, age 81 of Palestine, Ohio passed away at 12:05 A.M.
Monday January 5, 2015 at her residence. Glenna was born January
31, 1933 in Urbana, Ohio and the daughter of the late Asa & Mary
(Kemp) Newton.
She was retired from the Fram Corp. of Greenville where she had been
employed for 36 ½ years and was a member of the Palestine Church of
Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband
Paul A. Deeter July 9, 1998. Also 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Glenna is survived by her children Tom (Cinda) Deeter of New Madison,
Steve Deeter and his fiancé Marcia of Lancaster, Ohio, Deb Lawrence of
Palestine and Gary Deeter of New Madison; grandchildren Joshua, Amy and
Corey Deeter, Robert Lawrence, Dillon Lawrence and his fiancé Dana,
Derek Deeter and Katlin Combs; great granddaughters Elizabeth and Becky
O’conon as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday January 9, 2015 in
the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Mike
Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Palestine
Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00
P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to
the Cancer Association of Darke County or State of the Heart Hospice of
Darke County.
