Glenna G. Goewert
Glenna G. Goewert, 91, of Ansonia, OH, passed away early Wednesday
morning, January 21, 2015 at the Mercer County Community Hospital in
Coldwater.
She was born June 9, 1923 in Buckland, Ohio, the daughter of the late
Frederick and Nora (Wells) Tangeman. In addition to her parents she was
preceded in death by her husband, Earl C. Goewert, Sr., on April 20,
1991; daughter, Beverly Cox; brothers, Roger, Carol, Robert, Forest,
Virgil Tangeman; and sister, Vivian Zenz
Glenna was a graduate of Buckland High School in 1941 in Buckland,
Ohio. She was retired from the former Royal Garment Company in
Ansonia where she was a seamstress. She enjoyed doing crossword
puzzles, cooking, baking and gardening.
She is survived by her children, Earl (Virginia) Goewert, Jr. of St.
Henry, Ohio, Fred (Linda) Goewert of Versailles, Ohio, Dennis Goewert,
and Linda Bulcher of Ansonia; 9 grandchildren; several great
grandchildren;
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, January 26 at the
Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Eric Knight
officiating. Entombment will follow in the Greenville Township Memorial
Gardens Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1 p.m.
till 3 p.m. The family request in lieu of flowers that memorial
contributions be given to Ansonia Area Emergency Service.
