Ellen Marie (Sites) Meier, 95 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on
Friday January 2, 2015 at 2:33 AM at Rest Haven Nursing Home,
Greenville, Ohio. She was born June 17, 1919 in Union City,
Indiana the daughter of the late Ora B. & Edith L. (St. Myers)
Sites. She was a homemaker and a former member of Grace Lutheran
Church in Greenville. She loved to sew and cook. Ellen’s
life revolved around her children, grandchildren and great
grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Foster
Frederick Meier on June 3, 1980; brothers: Harold & Ralph
Sites.
She is survived by her daughters & sons in law: Becky &
Michael Campbell of Ansonia, & Nancy & Charles Raffel of
Greenville; grandchildren: Christopher & Jennifer Warner,
Julie Price, Ann Raffel, Lynne & Josh Hines, & Matthew Raffel;
step grandchildren: Kimberly Leeper & Fiancé Rick Perdue,
Dale Campbell, Kelly & Kay Campbell, Brian Campbell; great
grandchildren: Katelyn Warner, Logan Warner, Allison Warner,
Madison Warner, Lauren Warner, Lane Clark, Delayne Price; 4 step great
grandchildren.
Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday January 6, 2015 at Zechar Bailey
Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Ron Hoeksema
officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery.
Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services at the funeral
home. Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart
Hospice or Grace Resurrection Community Center.
