H. Marlene Perreira
H. Marlene Perreira, age 87, of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 2:25
P.M. on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Covington Care Center. Marlene was
born July 23, 1927 in Greenville Township in Darke County to the late
Addie & Helen (Brenner) Noggle.
Marlene is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law, Lou & Peggy
Perreira of Piqua and John & Kathy Perreira of Piqua;
daughter-in-law, Sheila Perreira of Dayton; grandchildren. Matthew
Perreira, Jodi Perreira, Nicolas Perreira, Benjamin Perreira, Abigail
Trostle, Daniel Perreira, Nathan Lane, Shane Perreira, Andrew Perreira
and Mary Crank; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Marlene is also preceded in death by her
husband, Louis Perreira whom she married July 10, 1947; and son, Tim
Perreira.
Marlene was a homemaker. She was a member of East Zion Community Church
in Greenville and a former member of the Greenville Green Thumb Garden
Club.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 14,
2015 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Terry
Haworth officiating. Burial will follow in East Zion Cemetery in
Greenville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 to
7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to
the American Diabetes Association.
