Marguerite J. Glunt
Marguerite J. Glunt, age 94 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 7:50
P.M. Thursday July 30, 2015 in the Brethren Retirement Community
Greenville, Ohio. Marguerite was born August 28, 1920 in New
Madison, Ohio and the daughter of the late Charles H. and Lucille “Cox”
(Anderson) Hileman.
She retired in 1977 from Hobart Manufacturing formerly of Greenville,
where she had been employed for 28 years as an Inspector. She was
also a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ, the Woman’s
Guild of the Church and a member of the Greenville V.F.W. Ladies
Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband
David B. Glunt December 31, 2008. They were married February 6,
1943. Also by her brothers Burldean Hileman, Charles Hileman Jr.,
Robert Hileman and Ralph Hileman; sisters Jennie Winn and Betty
Ketring; and a nephew Danny Hileman.
Marguerite is survived by her nieces Judy Powell, Gloria Boomershine,
Mary Pugh, Vickie Crawford, Betty Brant and Merle Williamson; nephews
Phillip Hileman, Harold Hileman, Jim Hileman, Tom Winn, Robert Hileman
Jr., Ralph Hileman Jr., Warren Hileman, David Hileman and John Hileman;
numerous great nieces and nephews and her best friend Shirley Washler.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday August 2, 2015 in the
Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Jim Vandermark
officiating. Burial will be held on Monday August 3, 2015 at
11:00 A.M. in the old section of the Greenville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until time of
services in the funeral home.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to
State of the Heart Hospice of Darke County.
