Pauline Johnson
Pauline Johnson, age 87 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 9:30 P.M.
Thursday June 11, 2015 at Heartland of Greenville. She was born
April 21, 1928 in Darke County and the daughter of the late Hershel O.
and Edna (Royer) Karn.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Greenville V.F.W. and American
Legion Ladies Auxiliary as well as the Trinity Wesleyan Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband
Robert E. Johnson Sr. October 29, 2008. They were married April
28, 1946. Also by daughters Rose Ellen Petty and Rebecca Paul;
brothers Clarence Karn, Roland Karn, Denver Karn, Howard Karn, Dale
Karn, Wilbur Karn, Paul Karn and infant Joseph Karn; sisters Mary
Bubemeyer, Ruby Bubemeyer, Altha Karn and Mary Hicks.
Pauline is survived by her children Robert E. Johnson Jr. of Eaton,
Ohio, Raymond (Joyce) Johnson of Gettysburg, Marion (Patricia) Johnson
of Greenville, Marvin (Roberta Williams) Johnson of Greenville, Charles
Johnson of Dayton, Rita (Richard) Melling of Fairborn and Elaine (Carl)
Jones of Eaton, Ohio; 18 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren,
great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday June 17, 2015 in
the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Chaplain Candy
Null officiating. Burial will follow in the Miami Memorial Park
Cemetery Covington, Ohio. The family will receive friends on
Tuesday June 16, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. in the funeral
home.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to
the Alzheimer’s Association.
