Joanne J. Bailey
Joanne J. Bailey, 79, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away Sunday, October
11, 2015 at her residence.
She was born August 11, 1936 in Wyandot, CO, a daughter of the late
Royal and Marie (Traxler) Griffin. In addition to her parents she
was preceded in death by a grandchild; brothers, Royal Griffin, Jr.,
Eugene Griffin; sisters, Virginia Smith and Jane Harmon.
Joanne was a homemaker and a member of EUM Church in Greenville. She
loved children and babysat for years.
She is survived by her husband, Paul E. Bailey whom she married on
December 31, 1955; children, Kevin Bailey, Kimberly (Dale) Francis,
Debra Barnhardt all of Greenville, Darrel (Wenndi) Bailey of Big Flats,
NY, Douglas (Brenda) Bailey Ogden, UT; 11 grandchildren; 19 great
grandchildren; and a sister, Patricia (Clarence) Coffman of Upper
Sandusky.
Services will be held at 10 AM, Friday, October 16, 2015 at Oliver
Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial will follow in Miami
Memorial Gardens in Covington, OH.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5 PM
to 7 PM. The family request that memorial contributions be given
to State of the Heart Hospice, 1350 N. Broadway St., Greenville, Ohio
45331.
