Norma J. Unland
Norma J. Unland, age 85, of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 2:42 A.M.
on Friday, October 16, 2015 at State of the Heart Hospice Care Center
in Greenville. Norma was born February 17, 1930 in Dayton, Ohio to the
late Bernard & Ruby E. (Ashman) Swank.
Norma is survived by her children, Rick Macci and Toni Wombold (Ken);
step son, Jerry Unland (Ron Gibson); grandchildren, Kelli Marsh (TJ),
Lisa, Farrah and Ginger Macci; step-grandchildren, Terri Mossbrucker
(Mike), Tonda Mucho (Scott), Troy Unland (Donna), Angela Petrisin
(Jim), Troy Wombold and Angie Hughes (Wayne); great-granddaughter, Lexi
Marsh; 13 step great grandchildren and 5 step great-great
grandchildren; and sisters, Linda Deeter of Greenville and Cheryl
Denlinger of Englewood.
In addition to her parents, Norma was also preceded in death by her 1st
husband, Sante V. Macci in 1967; 2nd husband, Jack “Red” Leon Unland on
August 22, 2015; step sons, Jack Eugene and Joe Unland; step grandson,
Todd Leon Unland; brother, Steve Swank; and sisters, Joanne Lear and
Beverly Swank.
Norma retired in 1986 from Fram Corporation in Greenville. Norma was a
member of St. John Lutheran Church in Greenville.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, October 20,
2015 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Patti
Morlock officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in
Miami Memorial Park in Covington. The family will receive friends on
Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home. Memorial
contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church or State of the
Heart Hospice.
