Breaden
Lucille “Boots” Breaden, age 82 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 2:10
PM Sunday April 10, 2016 at the Heartland Nursing Home of
Greenville. Boots was born December 30, 1933 in Darke County,
Ohio and the daughter of the late Melvin and Geraldine (Gunckle) Barga
Baumgardner.
Boots was a member of CASA, Elks Lodge, American Legion, Moose Lodge
all of Greenville, a Life Member of the Darke County YMCA and a former
member of the former Greenville Country Club. She also enjoyed
family gatherings particularly around the holidays, taking a walk and
shopping.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband
Richard E. Breaden December 12, 1993. They were married March 26,
1985. Also her sister Virginia Baker and brother John Baumgardner.
Boots is survived by daughters and sons in law Dana (Dee) and Jeff
Schmidt of Greenville and Janie and Steve Hubbard of Garfield Heights,
Ohio; son and daughters in law Donnie and Stephani Wampler and Amy
Breaden all of Greenville; step son Randy Breaden of Greenville;
grandchildren Stacy Strait, Jody (Jon) Shy, Tricia (Greg) Peck, Carrie
(Jim) Hackney, Melissa (Andy) Miller, Reb (Mamie) Breaden, Ryan
Wampler, Nathan Wampler and Alexandria Hubbard; great grandchildren
Nicholas Undicelli, Dylan Hackney, Sara Strait, Taylor Hackney, Garrett
Strait, Allison Shy, Brendan Shy, Mason Peck, Chase Peck, Piper
Hackney, Reagan Peck, Braden Miller, Reese Miller and Eli Breaden;
sisters Mary Whittington of Greenville and Kay Smith of Versailles;
brother Ron Baumgardner of Greenville as well as numerous nieces and
nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday April 13, 2016 in
the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Todd Reish
officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM
in the funeral home.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to
the Darke County Cancer Association or State of the Heart Hospice of
Darke County.
