Doris Virginia Marsh
Doris Virginia Marsh, 98 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Thursday
March 31, 2016 at 11:07 AM at her residence. She was born October
6, 1917 in Byesville, Ohio the daughter of the late Robert D. &
Mary Alice (Strauch) Hare. She was a salesperson for Grays
Jewelers.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Eastern Star of
Bradford, Oder of the White Shrine of Greenville which she was a past
officer; & Treaty City Homemakers.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her 1st husband: William
C. Farra in 1945 who was M.I.A. in World War II; 2nd husband:
Seren C. Marsh; grandchildren: Infant Shaffer, Richard L. Farra,
& Kelli A. Holsopple; great great grandchild: Taylor Bronson;
brother: Robert Hare; 1/2brother: William Hare
She is survived by her daughter: Judith A. Holsopple of
Greenville; step daughters: Nancy L. (Robert) Shaffer of
Lynchburg, Ohio, Carol A. (Glenn) Payne of Fairfield, Ohio; 19
grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren & great great
grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the
family at Abbottsville Cemetery with Pastor Angela Meeks
officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are
being handled by Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville,
Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to State of the
Heart Hospice or First United Methodist Church.
