Sue M. Searls
Sue M. Searls, 86 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Monday August 22,
2016 at 5:57 PM at the State of the Heart Hospice Care Center,
Greenville, Ohio. She was born February 8, 1930 in Columbus, Ohio
the daughter of the late Robert B. & Louise (Harding) Manuel.
Sue was a supervisor at Darke County Human Services; a member of the
League of Women Voters; Sorosis Literary Club; V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary;
Elks Lodge; Wayne Hospital Volunteer; past board member of Darke County
Mental Health; Passport; Area Agency on Aging PSA-2; Family Health
Services; Mental Retardation Independent Living; and a founding board
member of Comprehensive Health Services.
Sue is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband: John
Robert Searls. She is survived by her children &
spouses: Diana & Doug Baker, Rebecca Searls, Gretchen Price,
& Mark & Linda Searls; grandchildren: Jahn Price, Chris
Price, Courtney Pulfer, Kim Warren, & Matt Searls; 17 great
grandchildren.
A private memorial service will held at the convenience of the
family. It is the wishes of the family that memorial
contributions are given to the First Universalist Church of New
Madison. Arrangements are being handled by Zechar Bailey Funeral
Home Greenville, Ohio.
