James Combs
James Combs, 77 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, February
23, 2016 at Heartland of Greenville.
James was born January 2, 1939 in Vest, Kentucky, a son of the late
Martin Combs and the late Isabella Fugate Miller.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Don
Combs, Andy Combs and Gary Miller, and his sister, Theda Middleton.
He served in the Army. He was a Veteran of Korea. James loved
music and enjoyed playing guitar and singing. He loved all animals,
guns and target shooting.
James is survived by his sons, James Arlend Combs, Jr. of Arcanum, OH
and George Scott Combs of Arcanum, OH; brother, Herald (Linda) Miller
of Greenville, OH; sisters, Ann Miller of Florida and Karen Cummins of
Palestine, OH.
A Celebration of life service will be held at 7:00 PM Saturday,
February 27, 2016 at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville, with
Rev. Linville Miller officiating. Military honors will be provided by
the Greenville Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Saturday
at the Funeral Home.
