James F. Baird
James F. Baird, 87 of Arcanum, Ohio passed away on Saturday January 23,
2016 at 7:20 AM Dayton VA Medical Center Hospice Unit. He was
born December 7, 1928 in Albion, Michigan the son of the late Charles
& Grace (Bolen) Baird.
He was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp serving in the
Korean War. He and his wife were the owner/operators of Bairds
Floor Covering in Arcanum.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers: Harry,
Jake, & Dale Baird; sister: Lulu Klingshirn
He is survived by his wife: Betty (Campbell) Baird of Arcanum;
his son: Jeff Baird of Union City, Ohio; numerous, nieces,
nephews, great nieces, nephews, great great nieces, & nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 30, 2016 at 2:00 PM
at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Rev. John
Wiltshire officiating. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior
to services at the funeral home. Veteran’s services will be
conducted by the Greenville Veteran’s Honor Guard. Memorial
contributions may be made to Arcanum Rescue.
