Dolores J. Brown
Dolores J. Brown, age 81, of Franklin, Indiana and formerly of
Versailles, Ohio passed away at 12:23 P.M. on Friday, January 22, 2016
at her residence. Dolores was born January 23, 1934 in Middletown, Ohio
to the late Cecil & Martha (Wright) Swallow.
Dolores is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Charles M. Brown
whom she married September 7, 1950; children, Toni A. Knapke of
Greenville, Daniel R. & Deb Brown of Versailles, Michael L. Brown
of Versailles, Mark E. & Heidi Brown of Versailles and David S.
Brown of Franklin, Indiana; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Dolores was also preceded in death by 3
sisters and a brother.
A celebration of Dolores’s life will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday,
January 28, 2016 at Webster United Methodist Church 8849 Seibt Road
(Webster) Bradford with Rev. Dr. Kim Katterheinrich and Pastor David
Wilson officiating. A private graveside service will be held at Miami
Memorial Park in Covington. The family will receive friends on Thursday
from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at the church. Memorial contributions may
be made to Harbor Light Hospice Cedar Green Office Park 7164 Graham
Road Suite 150 Indianapolis, IN 46250. Arrangements are under the
direction of Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles.
