Robert Loman Schooley
Robert Loman Schooley died on December 18, 2015 in Greenville, Ohio at
the age of 82. The middle of thirteen children, he was born in
Hamilton, Ohio on July 12, 1933 to the late Ida and Edgar Schooley.
He worked in various financial capacities at the American Aggregates
Corporation throughout his career, including as Treasurer for nearly 20
years. Bob served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, had
been an active member of the Greenville Lions Club and filled various
leadership roles at the First Assembly of God Church during his 40
years of membership, including as a deacon and song leader.
Bob changed many lives with his generosity of spirit, and his impish
wit endeared him to friends and strangers alike. His greatest
pleasure was uplifting others, but a close second was zipping around
town in his black Beetle. He is survived by his wife of 56 years,
Janice, his daughter Brooke of New York City and a brother Richard of
Hamilton, Ohio.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, January 9, 2016
at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville. In honor of Bob, the
