Harold L. Weyant
Harold
L. Weyant, age 78 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 7:39 AM Sunday
June 12, 2016 at Reid Hospital Richmond, Indiana. He was born
October 10, 1937 in Darke County Ohio and the son of the late Charles
and Isabelle (Manning) Weyant.
Harold had formerly been employed in the Maintenance Department for the
City of Greenville, Treaty City Coin and had worked as a bar tender at
the Greenville Elks Lodge.
He loved to go fishing and was a former member of the Greenville Moose Lodge.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 2 sons Dennis
and Michael Ginter; brothers Charles and Edward and sisters Mary Lou,
Patti and Barbara.
Harold is survived by his wife Thelma R. (King) Weyant of
Greenville. They have been married 48 years. Also his
daughter Tanya Cornett of Greenville; grandchildren Misty, Shaun,
Samantha , Spencer, Daniel and Lindsey; 6 great grandchildren;
brothers James Weyant of North Carolina and John Weyant of
Celina; sisters Eileen Woodman of Ansonia, Kathleen Lutz and
Phyllis Crowell both of Greenville and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at 5:00 PM Thursday June 16, 2016 in the
Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Sam Shilot
officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from
4:00 PM until time of the services in the funeral home.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to the Cancer Association of Darke County.
