Joyce Pierron
Joyce Pierron, age 73 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 11:40 AM
Tuesday June 21, 2016 at Brookdale of Greenville. She was born
December 26, 1942 in Union City, Ohio and the daughter of the late
Ralph and Helen (Poling) Swank.
Joyce was a very dedicated Registered Nurse retiring from Rest Haven
Nursing Home and prior employed at Wayne Healthcare of Greenville.
She loved to crotchet, play crossword puzzles and was a member of the
Woodland Presbyterian Church in Babbitt, Minnesota.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a Grandson
Ryan Kimmel and her brother Bruce Swank.
Joyce is survived by her husband George Pierron of Greenville.
They were married November 3, 1961. Also daughters Lori (Mark)
Kimmel of Greenville, Lisa Fry of Dayton and Linda Malott of
Greenville; grandchildren Aaron Kimmel, Samantha (Dustin) Foster, Sarah
Fry, Eric (Ashley) Fry, Curtis Hubbell and Casey Malott; great
grandchildren Kayla Hackett, Tori Kimmel, Logan Kimmel, Landen Kimmel,
Bailey Foster, Cameron Fry and Aubrey Hubbell; brother Bob (Leanna)
Swank of Franklin, Indiana; special friends Linda and Larry Snider and
Sharri Moore.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday July 1, 2016
in the Brock Cemetery with Pastor Bob Bitner officiating. There
will be no visitation.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to
the Cancer Association of Darke County.
