Vivian Elizabeth Boone
Vivian Elizabeth Boone age 87, of Union City, Ohio passed away at 7:00
A.M. on Friday, March 4, 2016 at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Greenville
where she resided for the last 6 years. Vivian was born October 21,
1928 in Darke County, Ohio to the late Orville & Bertha (Coning)
Bowman.
Vivian is survived by her daughters & son-in-law, Sondra &
Michael Miller and Ronda Boone; grandson & granddaughter-in-law,
Jeff & Katie Miller; granddaughters & grandsons-in-law, Julie
& Loren Brubaker and Jennifer & Trent Wray; 12
great-grandchildren; brother & sister-in-law, Karl & Ruth Ellen
Bowman.
In addition to her parents, Vivian was also preceded in death by her
husband, James H. Boone on April 28, 1986 whom she married November 29,
1947.
She was on the farm for 61 years as a homemaker and assisted her late
husband in farming and dairy duties. Her love for gardening can be seen
on the farm today. Vivian was a long time member of Shady Grove German
Baptist Church near Union City, Ohio.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, March 7, 2016
at Shady Grove German Baptist Church near Union City, Ohio. Burial will
follow in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. The family will receive
friends on Sunday from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home
