Alan M. Hansbarger
Alan M. Hansbarger, age 93, of Ansonia, OH, passed away, Sunday,
October 02, 2016 in Springfield, Ohio
He was born Tuesday, January 16, 1923 in Canton, OH, a son of the late
Earl and Ruth (DeFord) Hansbarger. In addition to his parents, he
was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Hansbarger.
Alan was a veteran of World War II where he served as a Staff Sargent
in the 8th Air Force, 398th Bomb Group. He was a Graduate of Ohio State
University with a degree in mechanical engineering.
He is survived by many cousins, nephews and a niece.
Private services, with full military honors provided by the Greenville
Honor Guard, will be held at the convenience of the family.
Services have been entrusted to Oliver Floyd Funeral Home in
Greenville, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion, Post 365,
Ansonia, Ohio.
