Kenneth “Kenny” Eugene Anderson, age 78 of Greenville, Ohio passed away
at 12:32 PM Sunday September 11, 2016 in the Miami Valley Hospital
Dayton, Ohio. Kenny was born February 18, 1938 in Greenville,
Ohio and the son of the late Chester and Irene (Hittle) Anderson.
He retired in 2000 from the Union City Body Company after 42 ½
years. Kenny was a Richard Petty - racing fan, enjoyed fishing,
woodworking and in earlier years riding motorcycles, dirt bikes and
participating in Miniature Tractor pulling.
Kenny is survived by his wife Phyllis Jean (Bear) Anderson of
Greenville. They were married September 29, 1957. Also children
Sherry (Joseph) Shafer of Greenville and Darren (Celita) Anderson of
Wayne Lakes; grandchildren Justin Shafer and Jennifer Shafer; step
grandchild Amanda (Lee) Patton and step great grandchildren Macyn
Patton and Nolan Patton.
Private Graveside Memorial Services will be held at the convenience of
the family in the Oak Grove Cemetery Ft. Jefferson, Ohio with Pastor
Todd Reish officiating. There will be no visitation.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to
the Darke County Humane Society.
