Patricia L. Lipps
Patricia L. Lipps, age 91, of New Madison, Ohio, passed away at 8:23
A.M. on Monday, September 26, 2016, at Rest Haven Nursing Home in
Greenville. Patricia was born July 2, 1925, in Greenville to the late
Clarence J. & Leona (Green) Ungericht.
Patricia is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Paula &
Charles Godsey of New Madison, Nan & Richard Fritsche of Columbus
and Linda & Mark Searls of Greenville; grandchildren, Deetra &
Shawn Huntington of London, Mathew & Amanda Searls of Dayton,
Danielle Fritsche of Columbus, Courtney & Matt Pulfer of Versailles
and Kim & Nathan Warren of Greenville; 16 great-grandchildren;
sister, Barbara Sharp of Greenville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Patricia was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph William
Lipps on January 17, 2009 whom she married March 20, 1948; and
brothers, Richard, Earl and Jim Ungericht.
Patricia formerly worked at Woolworth’s in Richmond, Indiana and was a
homemaker. She was a member of the First Universalist Church in New
Madison. Patricia was also a member of Eta Pi Kappa Sorority.
A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held at 10:00 A.M. on
Saturday, October 1, 2016, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville
with Rev. Richard Venus officiating. The family will receive friends on
Saturday from 9:30 to 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. A private burial
in Greenmound Cemetery in New Madison will be at the convenience of the
family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to State
of the Heart Care.
