Gary F. Hemmelgarn
Gary F. Hemmelgarn, age 63, of Versailles, Ohio passed away at 1:13 AM
on Sunday, April 16, 2017, at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering.
Gary was born September 21, 1953, in Piqua, Ohio to the late Raymond
Henry & Evelyn Kathryn (Jones) Hemmelgarn.
Gary is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Nathan & Amanda
Hemmelgarn of Bradford; granddaughters, Macenzy & Caitlyn
Hemmelgarn; sisters & brothers-in-law, Kay & Ronald Groff of
North Star, Joyce & Richard Knapke of Rossburg and Linda & Bill
Gudermuth of Hawk Point, Missouri; brother, Raymond H. Hemmelgarn Jr.
of Winter Haven, Florida; sisters-in-law, Diane Hemmelgarn of North
Star, Wanda Hemmelgarn of Wright City, Missouri and Diana Hemmelgarn of
Versailles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Gary was also preceded in death by his
brothers, Edward V. and Charles L. Hemmelgarn.
Gary retired from SAJACKS Transport in Maria Stein where he was a truck
driver.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 5:00
to 8:00 PM at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles. There will be
no funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity
of the donor’s choice in Gary’s memory.
