Russell M. Huffman
Russell M. Huffman, age 82, of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 10:45 PM
on Monday, April 17, 2017, at State of the Heart Hospice Care Center in
Greenville. Russell was born June 8, 1934, in Richmond, Indiana to the
late James L. & Ellen Mae (Moffett) Huffman.
Russell is survived by his daughters, Diana Gallegos of Greenville and
Sue Ellen Clark of Lebanon; grandchildren, Robert & Jennifer Weyant
III, Nolan & Jenna Bousman and Zachary Clark; and a
great-granddaughter, Ayla Weyant.
Russell was also preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Rita J.
(Smith) Huffman on March 9, 2017 whom he married October 30, 1954; and
10 brothers and sisters.
Russell was a mechanic; he owned and operated Huffman Alignment in
Greenville until his retirement. He was a member of the Lowell Thomas
Lodge #83 FOPA for 28 years where he served as President for 14 years.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 22, 2017,
at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Chip Baker
officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Ft. Jefferson.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 to 7:30 PM at the
funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lowell Thomas
