Joyce Ann McEldowney
Joyce Ann McEldowney, age 77, of Versailles, Ohio passed away at 12:44
AM on Monday, July 31, 2017, at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering.
Joyce was born December 7, 1939, in Darke County to the late Benjamin
& Virginia (Downing) Robison.
Joyce is survived by her sister & brother-in-law, Loretta F. &
Larry Terhune of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was also preceded in death by her
husband, John A. McEldowney on August 14, 2016, whom she married June
5, 1965; and brother, Donald E. “Donnie” Robison.
Joyce retired from Copeland in Sidney where she was an inspector for 39
years. Joyce was a member of the Towne Squares Quilt Club in Greenville
and former member of the Ansonia Order of Eastern Star.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, August 10,
2017, at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Fr. James
Simons officiating. Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park in
Covington. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 to
12:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the
Versailles Veteran’s Honor Guard.
