Barry C. Kimmel
Barry C. Kimmel, age 69, of Versailles passed away at 10:28 AM on
Sunday, December 24, 2017, at State of the Heart Hospice Care Center in
Greenville.
Barry was born December 24, 1948, in Greenville to the late Gary C.
& Edith R. (Bellinger) Kimmel. In addition to his parents, Barry
was also preceded in death by a sister, Carole Teeter.
Barry is survived by his wife, Donna (Kissinger) Kimmel whom he married
May 25, 1968; children, Michelle & Kevin Reier of Ansonia and Lisa
Malone & Bryan Hoop of Piqua; grandchildren, Josh & Sarah
Kimmel, Kyle & Sharlotte Reier, Nate & Kendra Hill, Cianna
Betts and Olyvia Malone; great-grandchild, Levi Ashley; sisters &
brothers-in-law, Diane Kimmel of Sidney, Susan & Rob Allread of
Dandridge, Tennessee and Jackie & Brett Musser of Tipp City; and
numerous nieces and nephews.
Barry retired from Bohman Trucking in Russia. Barry was a member of the
Versailles Eagles Aerie 2347. He enjoyed woodworking and boating.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 28,
2017, at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles. Burial will follow
in Greenlawn Cemetery in Versailles. The family will receive friends on
Thursday from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial
contributions may be made to State of the Heart Care.
