Elsie Miller
Elsie Miller of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Friday, February 3,
2017, at age 95 at Rest Haven. She is survived by her son,
Gordon; daughter, Carol (Robert) Meigs; 4 grandchildren, 6 great
grandchildren, brother-in-law, Otho (Phyllis) Miller and nieces and
nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Glen; daughter, Brenda; her
parents, Florence and J. Irvin Apple; brothers, Richard and Ralph
Apple; and sister, Treva Arnold. Elsie was a homemaker, partner
on her and Glen’s farm (where they provided many memorable vacations
for their grandchildren), quilter and community volunteer. She
and Glen were members of the Oakland Church of the Brethren.
Elsie’s family is grateful for the care she received at Rest Haven and
for all the prayers and visits from friends and family while she
resided there.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 18 at 10:00 am at
Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles to share memories of
Elsie. Her service will follow at 11:00 am and burial will be at
the Greenlawn Cemetery in Versailles following the service.
