Rhonda L. Rismiller
Rhonda L. Rismiller, age 53, of Versailles, Ohio, passed away on
Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 6:05 PM at her residence. She was born
on September 3, 1963 in Darke County, Ohio, to Goethe & Patty
(Boolman) Rodeheffer of Ansonia, Ohio.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband, Jack
Rismiller of Versailles, Ohio, whom she married on November 24, 1984;
son, Dan Rismiller of Versailles; daughter and son in law, Bethany
& Andy Brown of Arcanum, Ohio; granddaughters, Myra & Tabitha
Brown; brother, Randy Rodeheffer of Lake View, Ohio, mother in law,
Norma Rismiller of Versailles; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father in law, Glen Rismiller.
Rhonda worked at various places as a clerk, bookkeeper and bank
teller. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in North
Star where she was the treasurer for many years and the past president
of church council. She was a longtime Girl Scout leader and a
member of the Eastern Star. She volunteered at the food pantry
and Versailles High School Band as well as numerous other places.
There will be a service held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 10:30 AM
at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 13495 Greenville St. Mary’s Rd., North
Star, Ohio, with Pastor Laura Shreffler officiating. Burial will
follow in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in North Star. Family
will receive friends on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 5-8 PM at Bailey
Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, Ohio, as well as one hour prior to the
service at the church.
It is the wishes of the family that memorial contributions be given to
Osgood Rescue or St. Paul Lutheran Church.
