C. Dean Besecker
C. Dean Besecker, age 72 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 8:59 PM
Friday June 9, 2017 at the State of the Heart Hospice Care Center in
Greenville. Dean was born March 4, 1945 in Greenville and the son
of the late Delvor Besecker and Garnett (Myers) “Besecker” Grodzensky
and Step Father Bob Grodzensky.
Dean was the owner/operator of the Old Stage Kennels of Waynesville and
had barbered for 26 years in West Milton. He was a member of the
Methodist Church, a licensed pilot and a member of the RC Flying Club
of Greenville.
In addition to his parents and step father he was preceded in death by
his sister Linda Wehrley April 20, 1990.
Dean is survived by his wife Gail Ann (Skidmore) Besecker of
Greenville. They were married November 21, 1972. Also
children Christopher (Julie Moore) Besecker and Matthew (Michele)
Besecker all of Troy, Tammy (Dave) Beals of Monroe and Jeffrey Besecker
and friend Donna Bernardi of Connecticut; 16 grandchildren, 7 great
grandchildren, 2 nieces, 1 nephew and numerous cousins.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:00 PM Monday June 26,
2017 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio. The
family will receive friends on Monday June 26th from 5:00 PM until time
of the services in the funeral home. Pastor Jeff Harper will officiate
the services.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to
the State of the Heart Hospice of Darke County.
