Carolyn “Sue” Minnich
Carolyn “Sue” Minnich, age 67, of Versailles, Ohio passed away at 11:51
AM on Friday, March 17, 2017, at Kindred Hospital in Lima. Sue was born
February 5, 1950, in Greenville to the late Allen & Luella
(Sanders) Mendenhall.
Sue is survived by her husband of 45 years, Edward L. Minnich whom she
married May 29, 1971; sons & daughters-in-law, Edward E. &
Theresa Minnich of Versailles and Christopher & Caleshya “Taz”
Minnich of Versailles; granddaughter, Tori Minnich; sisters &
brother-in-law, Mary Lou & Don Dowell of Troy and Janet Bey of
Versailles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sue was also preceded in death by her brothers, Johnnylee, Gary Allen,
Allen “Duane” and Larry Mendenhall; and a sister, Kathy Mendenhall.
Sue formerly worked at Versailles Health Care Center. She was a member
of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Osgood.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 21, 2017,
at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles with Pastor Don Solin
officiating. Burial will follow in Shooks Cemetery in Darke County. The
family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at the
funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.
