Marvin
L. Lindemuth age 91, of Greenville, Ohio and Bradenton, Florida passed
away at 4:50 AM on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at TideWell Hospice House in
Bradenton, Florida. Marvin was born March 15, 1925, in Greenville, Ohio
to the late John & Bessie (Arnett) Lindemuth.
Marvin is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Tania & Tommy
Dee Lam of Bradenton, Florida; grandsons, Tommy Lam of Orlando,
Florida, Michael Lam of New York City, New York and Justin & Emily
Lam of Denver, Colorado; sisters, Inez Clevenger of Union City, Indiana
and Myrtle McKnight of Greenville, Ohio; and nieces and nephews.
Marvin was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia A. (Berner)
Lindemuth on December 20, 2008 whom he married July 30, 1948; sister,
Marybell Washington; and brothers, Luther and John Edgar Lindemuth.
Marvin served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired in 1980 from
American Aggregates of Greenville where he was a draftsman. Marvin was
a 64 yr. member of the Greenville Masonic Lodge #143 where he served as
Worshipful Master in 1961 and Chaplain for 18 years. He was a 32nd
Degree Mason, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton; Antioch
Shrine Club of Dayton; and Darke County Shrine Club where he was
Past-President.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 13, 2017,
at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Peter Menke
officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery-New Section with
Military Honors conducted by the Greenville Veteran’s Honor Guard. The
family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the
funeral home. Greenville Masonic Lodge will conduct a Masonic memorial
Service at 4:45 PM Sunday, followed by a Scottish Rite Ring Service.
