Cheryl Lipps

Cheryl Lipps, age 61, of Greenville, Ohio, left peacefully early Saturday morning from earth to be with her heavenly father at Reid Hospital Hospice Care.  She was born on September 6, 1955 to Norma (Cain) York of Greenville, Ohio, and the late Robert Braun.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, David Lipps of Greenville; son, Dan Lipps of Greenville; granddaughter, Kaitlynn Lipps of Arcanum; brothers and sister in law, Bob (Susan) Braun of Westerville and Doug Braun of Covington; sister and brother in law, Jodi (Jake) York of Union City; sister in law, Kay Beth (Lon) Swihart of Lewisburg; uncle, Ralph Cooper of Indianapolis; aunt, Betty (Lindy) Monnin of Russia; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

In addition to her father she is preceded in death by her step father, Daniel Cooper; sister and brother in law, Jeanne & John Meade; and aunt, Bonnie Cooper.

Cheryl worked at Cooper Foods in St. Henry and was a member of the Pleasant View Missionary Church of Greenville where she loved working in the Awana Club.  She loved to go camping and spending the holidays with her family.

There will be a service held on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Allen Sudmann officiating.  Burial will follow in the Twin Cemetery, Preble County, Ohio.  Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 from 4-8 PM and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  

It is the wishes of the family that memorial contributions be given to the Children’s Ministry at Pleasant View Missionary Church.
