Gary Allen Kingrey

Gary Allen Kingrey, a husband; a father; a brother; a grandfather; a great grandfather; a father-in-law; a friend & neighbor departed from his farm home. To be with his Lord on May 1, 2017 he proceeded to his heavenly home.  Surrounded by his family while sharing songs and praise went so peaceful, at the age of 77 years old.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ben & Rosella Kingrey, brother Steve and nephew David.

Gary was a 1958 Arcanum graduate and spent many years at McCall Corp. as an oiler and General Motors (Harrison) as a plumber.  He also was a retired farmer.

Gary was married to the love of his life for 57 years “THE BRIDE” Maxine Kuhnle Kingrey.  They resided on Painter Creek-Arcanum Road and raised their two daughters Kimberly and son-in-law Scott Morrison, Renee and son-in-law Brad Wilcox.

The daughters blessed them with children that he adored as his grandchildren and great grandchildren: Tyler Morrison and wife Kayla, Lindsey Terrace, Kaylee Wilcox, Alexis Wilcox; Great grandchildren:  Aiden Terrace, Tarrin Morrison;

Gary is survived by his brother Rev. John Kingrey and wife Heather along with many nieces and nephews.

Boating was a special part of our family bonding & memories along with family trips.  He enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow & participate in sporting events.  He was faithful to his church & church family at Pleasant View Missionary Church.

Visitation will be held on Thursday May 4, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and 1 hour prior to services on Friday at Pleasant View Missionary Church 5231 Gettysburg Pitsburg Road, Greenville, Ohio.  A Celebration of life will be held on Friday May 5, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the church with his brother Rev. John Kingrey officiating.  Final resting place will be at the Newcomers Cemetery down from the family farm.  Arrangements are being handled by Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.

Donations may be given in “Memory” of Gary to the Pleasant View Missionary Church or the “State of the Heart” that gave comfort for five days.
