Brenda L. Spurlock
Brenda L. Spurlock, age 79, of Greenville passed away at 4:33 PM on
Thursday, November 23, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton.
Brenda was born March 19, 1938 in Greenville to the late Emerson &
Mildred (Miller) Reed.
Brenda is survived by her children, Joe Spurlock of Tennessee and
Shelly Higgins of Tennessee; grandchildren, Lacey & David Mullins
of Trenton and Ian Higgins of Houston, Texas; great-grandchildren, Kai
Mullins and Rylie Mullins; sister & brother-in-law, Monni (Jim)
Hunt-Appleman of Kentucky; brother & sister-in-law, William (Ann)
Reed of Greenville; and close friend, Ralph Runner
Brenda retired from Fram Corporation in Greenville. She was a life
member of the Greenville Moose, Golden Eagle member of the Greenville
Eagles and a life-long member of the Greenville Alumni Association.
A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday,
December 2, 2017 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville. The
family will receive friends on Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the
funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s
Research Hospital or Shriners Hospital for Children-Cincinnati.
