Jane A. Smith
Jane A. Smith, age 58, of Greenville passed away at 2:02 PM on Friday,
October 6, 2017, in Ansonia.
Jane was born September 29, 1959, in Greenville to Esther I. (Flora)
Rogers of Greenville and the late Earl F. Rogers. In addition to her
father, Jane was also preceded in death by her brother, Floyd L.
Rogers; and a nephew, Andy Kitchen.
In addition to her mother, Jane is survived by her children, Jeremy
Boone & Angel Orr of Greenville, Jeff Boone & Krissy Cole of
Richmond, Indiana, Jennifer & Dustin Hecht of Ansonia and Joshua
Smith of Greenville; grandchildren, Cameron Boone, Brittany Orr, Ethan
Boone, Dylan Boone, Cierra Rosinski, Callen Hecht and Remington Hecht;
brother, Leon Rogers of Greenville; sisters & brothers-in-law,
Marlene & Larry Troutwine of Ansonia and Sharon & Tom Hummel of
Middletown; sister-in-law, Shirley Tapp of Hollansburg; and numerous
aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jane was an accountant at Wayne HealthCare in Greenville.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, October 12,
2017, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Greg Hyre
officiating. Burial will follow in Palestine Cemetery in Palestine. The
family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the
funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Ansonia Local
