Lora “Jane” Landis
Lora “Jane” Landis, age 85, of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 9:35 PM
on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at the Brethren Retirement Community in
Greenville.
She was born September 17, 1932, in Greenville to the late Boyd C.
& Lula I. (Shiverdecker) Caupp. Jane was also preceded in death by
her husband, Wayne Harold Landis; and sister, Mary Anne Peters.
Jane is survived by her children, Linda & James Matte of Tampa,
Florida, Patricia Anne Latham of Phoenix, Arizona and Larry Wayne
Landis of Greenville, Ohio; grandchildren, Jeremy Landis, Jason Landis,
Lisa McClurg, Chrissy Landis, Michael Landis, Michelle Latham, Michael
Latham, Lora Mae Matte and Josie Lynn Paredes; great-grandchildren,
Abigail Latham, AJ Paredes, Jayden Paredes, Tyler Landis, Tori Landis,
Aubrey Landis, Cami McClurg, Patrick McClurg, Abbie McClurg and Thomas
McClurg; and a brother, Myron Denver Caupp of Middletown, Ohio.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 3, 2017,
at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Todd Reish
officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery in Greenville.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the
funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart
Care.
