Helen was a soft ball player as a young adult then a busy mom who liked
playing accordion and cards. Later in life Helen enjoyed her
grandchildren and great grandchildren and garage sales. Mom loved
giving away her apple butter (especially to Dr. Bowlin) and zucchini
bread (also to her great-grandchild Zooey). Mom was always heard
saying “I have eight of the best kids in the world” much to the chagrin
of her “kids”. We owe our sister, Janet, so much for living with and
caring for Mom. Our sincere thanks, Janet.
