John Warth
John Warth, 84, of New Paris, passed away on March 1, 2018 at Reid
Hospital in Richmond, Indiana.
John was born on August 12, 1933 in Georgetown, Kentucky, the son of
the late James and Myrtle (Morris) Warth.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife,
Carole (Holsapple) Warth; and his brothers, James and Gene Warth.
John served his country honorably in the United States Air Force from
June 16, 1958 until August 15, 1962. He was employed as an air traffic
controller in Indiana and Michigan, and then was employed at Belden in
Richmond from 1968 until retirement in 1995. John enjoyed watching
horse races, sports and loved his cats and dogs.
John is survived by his sisters-in-law, Shirley J. Warth of Richmond,
Indiana, and Helen (Holsapple) Roberts and William Clark, both of
Eldorado; his nieces, Sherryl (Warth) Nuzum of Kennesaw, Georgia, and
Deborah (Warth) Van Winkle of Hagerstown, Indiana; his nephews, Jeffrey
Warth of Richmond, Indiana, and Timothy Warth of Florida; and several
great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, March 6,
2018, at Tribute Funeral Homes, New Madison Campus, with Rev. Eric Fee
officiating. Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery.
Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 11 AM to 1
PM, at the funeral home.
