Shirley A. Robertson
Shirley A. Robertson, age 79, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away
unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 11:35 PM at Wayne
HealthCare, Greenville, Ohio. She was born on October 26, 1938 in
Greenville, Ohio, to the late Leon & Carrie (McEldowney) Cole.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 60 years Robert Robertson of
Greenville, Ohio, whom she married on December 26, 1957; daughter and
son in law, Sherry & Brian Burk of Ansonia; son, Barry Robertson of
Greenville; granddaughter, Nycole (Avery) Spencer; sister, Jean Marker
of Greenville; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister in
law, Georgia Wills and brother in law, Jack Marker.
Shirley retired from Krogers in Greenville and was a member of St.
Mary’s Catholic Church.
There will be a service held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 2:00 PM
at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Rev. Fr. John
White officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Township
Memorial Gardens, Greenville, Ohio. Family will receive friends
on Monday, February 12, 2018 from 5-7 PM at the funeral Home.
It is the wishes of the family that memorial contributions be given to
the Darke County Humane Society.
