Kimberly R. (Palsgrove) Pittaway

Kimberly R. (Palsgrove) Pittaway, 56, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on July 5, 2018 at the Dayton VA Medical Center Hospice.

Kim was born on March 9, 1962 in Troy, Ohio, to the late Floyd and Laura (Drennan) Palsgrove.

In addition to her parents, Kim was preceded in death by her brother, Kirk Palsgrove; her half brother, Sean Palsgrove; her niece, Kelly Baker; her brother-in-law, Gary Embrey; and her sister-in-law, Samantha "Gail" Palsgrove.

Kim served her country honorably in the U.S. Marines Corp. She was a 1980 Graduate of the former Piqua Central High School, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bradford. Kim was a home health care aid in England and took much pride in caring for her patients. She loved sitting around and talking with all of her family, friends and neighbors.

Kim is survived by her husband of 12 years, Alan Pittaway of Greenville, whom she married on July 1, 2006; her sons, John (Melissa) Rettlesdorf of Omaha, Nebraska, Andrew (Alex Greene) Retelsdorf, and Brett Retelsdorf both of Denver, Colorado; 8 grandchildren; her siblings, Jackie (David) Hernandes of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kathleen Sue Embrey of London, Kentucky, Robin Palsgrove of Greenville, Mark Palsgrove of London, Kentucky, and Gregg Palsgove of Laverne, Oklahoma; step children, Julie Pittaway of London, England and James (Donna) Pittaway of Oxford, England; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church of Bradford, 134 West Walnut Street, Bradford, Ohio 45308 with Pastor Mark Lynch officiating. Burial, with full military honors provided by the Greenville Honor Guard, will follow at Harris Creek Cemetery.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 5 PM until 7 PM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.
