Myrtle N. Lehman
Myrtle N. Lehman, age 92 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 8:00 PM
Monday March 19, 2018 at the Brookdale Senior Living of
Greenville. Myrtle was born June 27, 1925 in Clark, Ohio and the
daughter of the late Ross and Florence (Brill) Lowe.
She was the youngest of 7 children.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her
husband Lowell R. Lehman in 1991. Also her siblings Howard (Mary)
Lowe, Doris (Shannon) Beard, Marcella (Leland) McCoy, Blay (Milo)
Glazier, Leah (Wilbur) Poland and Ruth (James) Drew.
Myrtle was a 1943 graduate of Clark High School and a 1950 graduate of
Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing. She had been employed
for 43 years at Wayne Hospital of Greenville, retiring in 1990.
She was a member of the Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing Alumni
Association, the V.F.W. Post 7262 Ladies Auxiliary and the Greenville
Grandmother’s Club.
Myrtle is survived by her daughters Karen (Ron) Bucholtz and Julie
(Ben) Shields all of Greenville; grandsons Ned (Emily) Bucholtz, Ben
(Breanne) Bucholtz, Justin (Sarah) Haines and Brandon Shields; 6 great
grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday March 23, 2018 in the
Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Chaplain Jackie
Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery
Ft. Jefferson, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Thursday
from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to
State of the Heart Care Darke County, Ohio.
