Karl Kent Coppock
Karl Kent Coppock, age 69 of Arcanum, Ohio passed away at 8:24 PM
Thursday May 3, 2018 at the State of the Heart Hospice Care Center in
Greenville. Kent was born October 30, 1948 in Greenville and the
son of the late J.C. and Cristal (Wion) Coppock.
Kent retired in 2015 from the Wayne Division of Smith Dairy in
Richmond, Indiana and was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving from
December 1966 until December 1969 in the U.S. Army. Kent enjoyed
spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Frances
Shank.
Kent is survived by his wife Karen S. (Hetzler) Coppock of
Arcanum. They were married December 8, 1968. Also daughters
Michelle (Bryce) Shaffer of Kewanna, Indiana, Jaclyn Bailey and fiancé
Stacy Phillips of Connersville, Indiana and Christina (Eric) Hester of
Greenville; grandchildren Malici Shaffer, Kent Shaffer, Hunter Shaffer,
Deirdre Bailey, Charlie Bailey, Shalya Phillips, Jacob Cain, Levi Cain,
Carolynn Bruce, Christopher Hester and Charles Hester; great
grandchildren Rozalin Lewis, Boston Bruce, Paisley Bruce and Theo
Bruce; brother Wayne (Mary) Coppock of Greenville; sister Melinda
Shahan of Brighton, Michigan as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday May 8, 2018 in the
Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio. Burial will follow
in the Abbottsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on
Tuesday from 1:00 PM until time of the services in the funeral
home. The Greenville Veteran’s Honor Guard will conduct Military
Honors at the Abbottsville Cemetery.
