Pauline Aukerman
Pauline Aukerman, age 95, of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 9:35 PM
Tuesday May 29, 2018 at the Brethren Retirement Community of
Greenville. Pauline was born August 28, 1922 in Darke County,
Ohio and the daughter of the late Roy & Zelma (Royer) Landis.
She was retired form Greenville Athletic after 24 years of employment
and was an active member of the Painter Creek Church of the Brethren
where she had taught Sunday School and served the church as a
Deaconess. Pauline also enjoyed crocheting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband
Alva D. Aukerman November 11, 2013. They were married April 4,
1942. Also her son-in-law Alan Dohner and brother Ken Landis.
Pauline is survived by her children David (Pam) Aukerman of Greenville
and Treva Dohner of Troy; grandchildren Sherri Painter of
Pittsburg, PA, Alicia (Jeff) Lehman of Hilliard, Ohio, Eric (Jodie)
Aukerman of Arcanum and Dorinda Dohner of Ellettsville, Indiana; 9
great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters, 1 great great
grandson and brother Don Landis of Pennsylvania.
Funeral
Service will be held at 10:30 AM Monday June 4, 2018 in the
Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor David Cummings
officiating. Burial will follow in the Newcomers Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 PM until 8:00
PM
in the funeral home.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to
Brethren Retirement Community 750 Chestnut St., Greenville, Ohio,
