Sherry Jo (Dapore) Parker, 59 of Arcanum, Ohio, passed away on
Wednesday November 21, 2018 at 9:05 PM at Kindred Hospital, Dayton,
Ohio. She was born July 23, 1959 in Greenville, Ohio the daughter
of Joe Dapore of Greenville and the late Sharon (Thornburg) Dapore and
step mother Jackie Dapore of Greenville. She was a homemaker and
a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church; she was also a Ham Radio
Operator her call sign being W8JO; she was an avid fisherman and loved
camping.
She is preceded in death by her mother.
She is survived by her father and step mother; her husband: Brian
Keith Parker of Arcanum; her sons & daughter in law: Charles
Govey of Huber Heights, & Scott & Tina Govey of Arcanum;
grandson: Andrew Govey; sister & brother in law: Lori
& Donnie Jones of Dayton; brother & sister in law: Kevon
& Brenda Dapore of Dayton; and numerous nieces & nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday November 28, 2018 at
10:30 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 233 West Third Street,
Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Fr. John White Celebrant. Burial will
follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery. The family will
receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday November 27, 2018
and from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM on Wednesday at Zechar Bailey Funeral
Home, Greenville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the
Cancer Association of Darke County.
