Ila S. Gregson
Ila S. Gregson, age 91 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 11:05 AM,
Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Village Green Nursing Home, Greenville,
Ohio.
Born in Albany, Kentucky on July 1, 1927 she was a daughter to the late
Welby & Stella (Lyons) Upchurch.
Ila was the owner and manager of the Peppermint Village Apartments in
Union City for many years. She was a member of the St. John Lutheran
Church, lifetime member of the VFW; Moose lodge & Elks lodge. Ila
was a hard-working loving mother and grandmother, she will truly be
missed.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by husband Robert
E. Gregson, Sr. : her siblings: son-in-law Dan Campbell.
Survived by children Robert “Ed” Gregson, II & wife Vicki; Shirley
Campbell; Brenda & husband Doug Wolf; Linda S. Gregson: 7
grandchildren: 7 great-grandchildren: and many more family members and
friends.
Services for Ila are to be private per her wishes. Burial at St. John’s
Lutheran Cemetery, Greenville, Ohio. Arrangements entrusted to the
Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
