Robert N. Alspaugh
Robert N. Alspaugh age 74, of New Madison passed away at 5:34 PM on
Thursday, October 25, 2018, at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit
at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.
Robert was born May 23, 1944, in Darke County to the late Carl N. &
C. Jean (Schell) Alspaugh. In addition to his parents, Robert was also
preceded in death by his wife, Gerry C. (Flowers) Alspaugh; and
brothers, Kenneth and David Alspaugh.
Robert is survived by his step children, Diane & John Stewart of
Troy, Greg & Kathy Hawk of Vandalia and Scott & Robin Hawk of
Tipp City; step-grandchildren, Rachel & Ryan Paulus, Nick Canan,
Michele & Rob Aitken, David Hawk, Kimberly Hawk, Brandon Hawk and
Josh Hawk; 4 step-great grandchildren; and a sister, Vicki (Jan)
Sybenga of Dayton.
Robert retired from the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War. Robert
was a body shop technician and cowboy at heart.
There will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of
Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville.
