Bruce A. Hoskins
Bruce A. Hoskins, 53 of Greenville, passed away at 6:44 PM on Wednesday
October 2, 2019 at his residence from a farming accident. Bruce
was born April 10, 1966 in Greenville, Ohio to the late Ronald Hoskins
and surviving are his mother Debora (Shields, Hoskins, Spicer, Crews)
brothers Brian and Ryan Hoskins of Greenville, Ohio, Dustin and his
wife Shannon of Virginia, also his wife Lisa (Waldroop) Hoskins to whom
he married July 22, 2000.
Bruce was also preceded in death by his grandparents Lucille Wehrcamp,
Clyde and Eileen Hoskins, Virginia C. (Fitzgerald, Shields, Reser),
& surviving grandpa Steve Reser of Greenville, also surviving are
step children Lisa, Tammy, & Linda Corners, Jessica Simonds of
Sidney, Ohio; grandchildren are Briana Brown, Logan Morrison, McKenzie
& Faith Neer, Landyn Berry, Alex Choat, Julius Miller, Jade Raines,
Corbynn Mullens, Jorgia Simonds (Dec). all of Sidney, Ohio
Surviving aunts and uncles Rick & Debbie Hoskins, Debbie Miller,
Denise Mayo, Donna Stickler, Chuck Shields, Suellen & David
Brandenburg, Kim Beckett, & Tim Reser & numerous nieces &
nephews.
Bruce was employed at the Elks in Greenville; also, he worked for
Oakley Place, Darke County Home, Michaels Home, Brethren Home & a
chef at numerous restaurants.
He was a graduate of the class of 1985 Greenville Senior High; he also
did culinary school in Dayton, Ohio. He was a member of the
Greenville Elks 1139, Est. Loyal Knight of the Elks, Chairman of ENF;
he enjoyed doing charities, craft shows & family tree
heritage. He was a happy go lucky guy and helped anyone in need.
Services will be held on Wednesday October 9, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Zechar
Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Rev. John Sgro officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on
Wednesday at the funeral home. There will be an Elks Lodge of
Sorrow at 1:30 PM on Wednesday. A celebration of life will be
held at the Greenville Elks after the burial on Wednesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Elks ENF or to the family to
help offset funeral expenses.
