First Lady Karen Kasich and daughters, Emma and Reese were proud to
have been a part of the Governor’s Student Art Exhibit Ceremony and to
visit the Ohio Statehouse Civil War commemoration event this past
weekend. Emma posted the following comment...
On Sunday, we went to see our mom speak at the Governor’s Student Art
Exhibit Ceremony and to visit the civil war reenactment at the
Statehouse! The art was really cool and they gave out lots of
scholarship money to the students. We had fun at the civil war
reenactment also. They shot off a real cannon which was really loud! We
even saw the tools for an amputation! Reese and I were sad to leave but
had a great time!
