He has no clue
That’s My Opinion
By Bob Robinson

Florida judge rules entire Obamacare package unconstitutional.
Hardly a surprise. It was only a matter of time. It was the most
egregious trampling of our rights that I can remember in my lifetime…
and that’s been a couple of years.
However, the Supreme Court will likely have the final word.
On top of that, Obama’s Muslim background hasn’t helped our Middle East
relations, as he indicated it would. Remember? He was going to sit down
and “talk” with them? His waffling on the chaos in Egypt, one of our
longest standing allies in that part of the world, has left us a
laughing stock to nations near and far.
I’ve mentioned a few times that I get a lot of my “news” from the
“Blogsters,” primarily because even if it’s slanted – left or right – I
probably wouldn’t know about it if not for them.
For instance, who would have thunk that our illustrious Environmental
Protection Agency is requiring dairy farmers to implement an emergency
disaster plan… over “spilled milk” for crying out loud?
You didn’t hear or read about it in the news. We can thank Blogster
Thomas Sowell for that.
And only brief mention was made about the EPA’s plans to implement
Obama’s “Cap & Trade.” At no point did the media ever note that it
was almost lock, stock and barrel the legislation that even
Congressional Democrats were too skittish to pass last year.
I also think it’s interesting that no matter how often a newspaper or
television station reports that gasoline prices are killing us at the
pump, I’ve yet to see an in-depth analysis of why. Channel 7 reported
once that about 47 cents per gallon was due to federal and state taxes.
But no “legitimate” news source has reported that federal regulations
require all processing plants to shut down twice a year to change
formulas for summer and winter use, the feds “own” huge sections of
land that could hold the largest fuel reserves in the world, have
almost completely stopped permits for new offshore drilling, and –
here’s the kicker – the U.S. is the world’s third largest exporter of
oil. American oil.
We don’t even use what is available to us!
I wish I had a nickel for every time someone has stopped me on the
street and said I should investigate price gouging by our local service
stations. They don’t know any better because our “news” sources don’t
inform them! That information typically comes from Blogsters.
But I digress…
One of my favorites is Dick Morris. He was one of Slick Willie’s
advisors who orchestrated Clinton’s move to the center after the Dems
lost Congress in 1994.
He’s much further right than I ever would have imagined – sometimes
even too far for my taste – but he has a flair for words and he needs
to be taken seriously.
County News Online (CNO) posted one of his blogs Thursday… Obamacare:
D.O.A.
He sums up the Obama presidency so far as follows:
“Obama’s economic program is in ruins. His healthcare bill is
unconstitutional. His financial regulation bill (Dodd-Frank) has
so harassed small and community banks that they have stopped lending to
small businesses. And, on top of all that, he is losing Egypt to
radical Muslim fundamentalists.
“What a presidency!”
It is unbelievable the damage that “Hope & Change” has done to our
country! If we ever manage to repair it, most of us won’t live to see
it.
Ready for the shocker?
Just about every poll in the country is showing Pres. Obama’s approval
rating has passed the 50 percent mark. Even Rasmussen shows him gaining
popularity among the voters.
People love him again!
Am I missing something here?
The Darke Knight, bless his (or her) pointy little heart, took an Obama
slam that’s been floating around the Internet for a year or so – I’d
seen it a couple of times – and made what I thought was a strong point.
He/she changed it to note how susceptible we were to any leader with a
fluid tongue and a flair for manipulation.
I went to a seminar in Columbus a couple years ago on “How to Win a
Local Election.” Didn’t work too well for me, but that’s another story.
The point that was pounded home was that the most qualified person
doesn’t always win… the best “candidate” wins. It rang true then. It
rings true today.
And President Barack Hussein Obama is living proof.
When he opens his mouth it’s like Elvis was performing again and the
swooning girls are the American public… they fall apart at the seams.
Unfortunately, that’s where the similarity stops. Elvis was good at
what he did. Obama isn’t.
He has no clue how to run a country and, what’s worse, no desire to
learn.
That’s my opinion. What’s yours?
