From the Other Side of the Edge….
“Dead Cop
Society” Protesters,…Ignore the most Basic Point of All
By Joe Facinoli
You wouldn’t start reading a book in the second chapter, …would you?
Of course not. You’d miss the set-up, and the premise for
the whole story.
Would you begin telling a tale, or relating an experience, in the
middle of the action, and then jump to the end,…to
summarize?
Obviously not. You would completely confuse your audience
(and probably yourself) by leaving out important parts, before
attempting to force a bunch of unsupported conclusions onto those
listening, and trying to understand you.
And you certainly wouldn’t hand in a finished report at work, which
conveniently leaves out the basic and primary information of a given
study, or area of concern, …in order to turn mere personal opinions
into what seem to you like strong recommendations.
Not if you wanted to keep your job for any length of time, …and not
unless you were very lucky.
Then why do we let the “Dead Cop Society” protesters, from all over the
country, (through all the major media outlets, …and our government),
get away with exactly the same things ???!!
Conveniently, they leap right past the most damning part of their
biased narrative, …the point that ends all discussion, whenever it is
rightfully addressed.
That point??
That the people they hold up as such sainted martyrs, as well as most
of the rest of the “victims” of those hate-filled, racist cops which
they love to vilify so much, ….are CRIMINALS first !!!!
When you commit crimes, …certainly big ones, but even if it’s just a
lot of minor ones, …you put yourself in a position to pay the
consequences for those actions, …period !!
Do some cops go overboard in their treatment of
perpetrators? Yes they do, …some of them, …a very small
percentage of the time.
Are there racist white cops, who treat black suspects badly, even
criminally? You bet, …and we should punish these offenders,
severely.
But one sure way of preventing such abuse by police officers of any
kind, shape, or color, …is by not getting on their radar in the first
place!!
When you commit crimes, your actions hold you
accountable. And sooner or later, they will also make
you open to, …whatever method of apprehension an officer of the law may
choose.
If you have not been involved in any criminal activity, but are pursued
and/or handled improperly or illegally by law enforcement anyway, …then
you will have a much easier and simpler time, in both proving your
innocence, and bringing to justice any abusive cops who participated in
this bad behavior.
There’s not a lot of grey area here.
Do right, and you will be treated with respect and deference, …most of
the time.
Do wrong, and you put yourself at risk for whatever bad day, or
baggage, a certain cop might be carrying around with them, whenever
they might meet up with you, while you’re doing
wrong.
There are exceptions, and this is the real world, of course, …things
happen. Sometimes bad things happen when they shouldn’t,
and even when you’re doing the right things.
But when they do, it’s easier to sort them out, when you haven’t
previously been to the same police station 30 times, or
more.
Eric Garner would tell you this, …if he could.
And another thought. How ‘bout a little cooperation
with the gendarmes, and a smidge of respect for them, when stopped for
questioning, or being told to do something (legal) by these folks??
Instant disagreement, hostility, and conflict, leads to nowhere
good. Especially when one’s criminal reputation
precedes an encounter between cop and suspect.
Openly defying a cop, and then trying to punch them and take their gun,
usually isn’t going to end well.
Michael Brown would tell you this, …if he could.
But why do we allow the self-appointed, socially fraudulent, and purely
for-profit leaders of the Black community, to tell “their story” in
whatever way they want ??
Why do we let them ignore the most basic point of all of it, …and the
underlying factor which changes the whole narrative of these moronic
‘60s wannabes, every time it is brought up???
Blacks commit crimes at a rate TEN times higher than that of Whites and
Hispanics, ….combined !
I have spoken before about the demise of the Black Culture, and of the
Black family unit, and the acceptance of the “welfare state of mind”,
and of the urban lifestyle of crime, drugs, and fatherless
children.
These things, …are the root of the issue.
White prejudice, which unfortunately still exists too frequently in
America, is only a sideways symptom, …and not a cause of these
problems.
But without the slightest correction, we (the media, the government,
and too many others) allow this bogus “civil disobedience” discussion
to continue, with no deference whatsoever, …to the only point that
matters.
And that point has nothing to do with race.
Or it didn’t, …until the clueless, social welfare-sycophants hit the
streets, ..blindly following an unashamedly racist group of black
leaders (including our President and Attorney General), whose clear and
self-absorbed agenda is as socially unproductive, …as it is morally
wrong.
And now, we are way beyond squabble, friction, and
misunderstanding.
We are all the way to vicious provocations, and unmerciful strife, now
manifested by horrific and brutal, street-level
assassination.
Many national and regional leaders, black and white, share in the blame
for this.
And many local police departments, community organizations, church
leaders, and supposedly responsible mayors and other city and county
level officials and politicians, …get an equal share of this, as
well.
But where it all starts, …and from where it all can be changed and
rectified, …is in the hearts, and minds, …and the behavior, …of
individuals.
You know who you are. Be honest, ….Do the Right
Thing.
Don’t drag the rest of us into your personal issues, ….and
denials.
